Description
NAMI Sacramento is a grassroots, family and consumer self-help support and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with severe mental illnesses. Severe mental illnesses are physically-based brain disorders that can profoundly disrupt a person's ability to think, feel, and relate to others and their environment.
NAMI Sacramento is the only local mental health agency offering support, education, and advocacy for people coping with their own mental illness and for their family members, too. We receive no government funding and are entirely self-supported.
