Description

NAMI is short for the National Alliance for the Mentall Ill. NAMI-LA's Mission is SEAR: Support, Education, Advocacy, Research.

NAMI offers Support and Education at Family to Family 12 week sessions.

Advocacy.at monthly LA Affiliate meetings providing updated information presented by distinguished experts, plus networking opportunities, resources, reducing the stigma of mental illness with NAMI StigmaBusters Email Alert and In Our Own Voice (consumers own voice), AND when to Advocate for increased Research funding, and all aspects of the Road to Recovery.
