Description
Namaste Comfort Fund exists to support people who lack the resources they need to experience comfort, dignity and quality of life. Namaste Comfort Fund clients may be poor, homeless, mentally ill or disenfranchised in other ways. The Fund helps by connecting these people with community programs or services or by direct assistance in the form of small grants. For instance, recent Fund grants have included the purchase of bus tickets for a patient to visit his hometown; a phone card for out-of-state children to keep in touch with their dying mother; a steak and bacon picnic for a nursing home resident. Namaste Comfort Fund has a bias toward “yes.” You may be confident that your donation will help us perform small miracles in difficult times for deserving individuals and their loved ones.
