Description
The Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation (MDF) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization founded by families living with myotonic dystrophy (DM), a form of muscular dystrophy. Through education, advocacy, research and hope, the MDF is committed to act as an advocate for and to help the community living with this disorder. We work in tandem with medical and scientific leaders to mobilize resources in order to help affected individuals, their families and medical professionals, understand this complex disorder and to develop treatments and ultimately a cure for this disease.
