Description

My Place To Be is a place that helps families and children with Autism. We work on social skills and teach ways to self regulate. Giving children the power to be who ever they want to be. We will be a full time school 2008-2009 school year. We are located on a 7.5 acre farm which children are a part of running and taking care of.
Our mission is to provide a safe place for children to express themselves and to learn in a positive way. This is a place where all children are treated with dignity and respect. Children are allowed to learn self-awareness through many aspects involving nature, arts and sensory integration. My Place To Be will provide the time, tools and resources needed to enable children to find emotional, social and academic success to allow them to meet the requirements set forth by the Ohio Department of Education. My Place To Be will allow children to realize their full potential as they grow into caring adults.
