Description
Mohave County kills between 6000 and 8000 animals. Mutt Matchers & Friends has created an adoption center to rescue adoptable dogs from euthanasia. We save hundreds by placing animals in loving homes. Mutt Matchers & Friends organized November 1 2005. Our facility has always had procedures & policies in place. When we rescue our homeless dogs, we use 2 experienced evaluators who check out each dog. If the dog passes our 220 point evaluation by a minimum score of 176, we consider the dog adoptable. Our veterinarian gives a health check, rabies shot, and spa /neuter if required. We also mannerize and socialize our pups on a daily basis. Our dogs have a play yard, with people and other dog interaction. We have indoor kennel runs for their comfort at night. They have both cooling in summer & heat in winter. We
interview and screen prospective adopters and their families to ensure our rescued dogs will go to their "forever homes".
