Description
A choral chamber ensemble, now beginning its 30th season under the direction of founder Kerry Krebill. Musikanten was founded in 1979 in Bethesda Maryland and is now in residence at St. Peter's Episcopal Cathedral in Helena Montana. In addition to performing concerts in Montana and the Washington DC area, the ensemble annually sponsors the Montana Early Music Festival in March and Helena Choral Week at the end of June. The group tours internationally each year, singing primarily a cappella music of American composers.
