Description

Music Changing Lives is a non-profit provider of out-of-school programs with a mission to provide high quality academically oriented after school programs to young people regardless of race, or economic status, we anticipate servicing more than 110,000 students just in the Inland Empire school districts during 2008-2009 promoting our stay in school tour “The Ignorance Stops Here”. For more info visit www.MusicChangingLives.org
Music Changing Lives needs to raise a total of $40,000 – that’s the equivalent of $1,000 per school with a total of 40 High Schools. Funds will help conduct and analyze research, and collaborate with a variety of practitioners to further our mission of reducing our community’s dropout rate by meeting the needs of youth in at-risk situations.

The program will be delivered by a combination of paid staff and volunteer mentors. The program plans to sustain funding by a blend of public and private funds. So programs can be free of charge to students.
