Description

We are one of 15 community ministries in Louisville, KY. The acronym MUSCL stands for Ministries United of South Cnetral Louisville. We assist neighbors in four surrounding zip codes [40213, 40217, 40219 & 40229] with rent or mortgage, utilities, food, clothing, and prescription medication. we also serve an after school population of youth who are "at risk for failure" in their school work. In addition to these services we deliver meals on wheels to senior adults and government commodities. We are now in our last year of offering free of charge an airport relocation ombudsman serving those people in Lousivilee affected by the Lousiville International Airport Expansion project , the largest relocation in the nation. We are supported by local government grants, businesses, individual donors and churches from all denominations.
