Description

The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation (MHOF) supports music education and its many benefits through the donation of new and refurbished musical instruments to underserved school and community music programs and individual students nationwide.

To date, MHOF has donated $4 million worth of instruments to 720 music programs and individuals across the country, effectively helping over 100,000 students and hundreds of dedicated teachers. New and refurbished instruments with a value of $4,000,000 have been donated. In addition, MHOF has served 80 schools in six states affected by Hurricane Katrina, donating approximately $1,000,000 worth of new and refurbished instruments.
