Description

The mission of Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA) is we are moving to end sexual assault and the suffering it causes in our community. We believe every woman, man and child has the right to live free of sexual assault.

MESA’s staff and volunteers work to accomplish two goals concerning our mission: First, MESA strives to reduce the incidence of sexual violence in Boulder County by providing prevention education programs that address sexual assault, sexual harassment, gender violence, sexism and healthy relationships.

Second, MESA provides direct client services to sexual assault survivors (and their family and friends) such as a 24-hour rape crisis hotline for emotional support and crisis intervention, case management, referrals, and medical and criminal justice advocacy.

MESA serves all residents of Boulder County and provides both prevention education programs and client services for Spanish-speaking clients
