Description

Move A Child Higher (MACH 1) offers equine assisted activities and horsemanship designed to help riders with disabilities improve their physical capabilities, mental abilities and emotional outlook. The center provides individually tailored riding programs to keep kids moving to higher levels of physical ability, higher levels of understanding and acceptance of themselves, and higher levels of life skills.

MACH 1 is a NARHA, North American Riding for the Handicapped Association Premier Accredited Center and maintains facilities and standards of practice which meet NARHA certification requirements and CHA-AHSE safety requirements.

The majority of MACH 1 funds - both capital and operating - come from contributions: grants, cash and in-kind donations.
