Mountain Microenterprise Fund supports the creation and growth of small businesses throughout the twelve western most counties of North Carolina by providing training, technical assistance, and loans to aspiring entrepreneurs. Our programs include: *Foundations Business Planning Program: Participants in this 24-hour, 4-8 week course discuss, research, and write a complete business plan, including financial projections, marketing plans, and licensing. *Growth through Objectives (GO) Program: This intensive assistance provides at least 10 hours of 1-on-1 consultation over three months. *Small Business Loans: (of up to $35,000) are designed in particular for inexperienced and less qualified borrowers. *Membership Program: We have learned that entrepreneurs need on-going support, particularly during their businesses’ first three years. These services include: advanced trainings, monthly networking gatherings, 1-on-1 assistance, business alliances, and quarterly newsletters.
