Mostly Mutts is a non-profit organization that helps out the community by finding forever homes for unwanted dogs and the occasional cat. Many people help out too by coming to walk dogs, feed dogs, clean the dogs kennels, and give some love.
The shelter is owned by founder Cheryl Hill. She has been resucuing unwanted and stray dogs for over 25 years. Originating in Milton, Pa. Cheryl relocated her shelter to rural Sunbury .
Today Mostly Mutts consists of 6 buildings on the property. They are heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer. There is also direct water hook up, inside and outside lighting, radios always playing in each building for comfort, 2 large play yards for the dogs to romp around in and walking trails in the woods, the walking trails are always being made for a more adventerous feel for the dogs.
