A statewide organization who's mission is to unite, support and inspire individuals to be stewards of the natural world.
MEEA:
* connects teachers with resource providers and services
* fosters an awareness and understanding of the environment and local sense of place
* presents accurate information about environmental problems and issues
* encourages learners to use their knowledge, personal experience and assessment of environmental issues as a basis for problem-solving and action
* encourages the development of lifelong skills that enable learners to address environmental concerns
