Description
The Momentum Project, a nationally recognized agency specializing in wellness services for people living with HIV/AIDS, was founded in New York City in1985. Food and nutrition are the centerpieces of our programs. Momentum's acclaimed communal meals provide a welcoming point of entry for needy New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS to access a continuum of wellness services. Today, Momentum operates nine programs at eight neighborhood sites in the Boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. As one of the oldest and largest AIDS service agencies, Momentum’s unwavering commitment is to the individuals, families and communities at highest risk and in greatest need.
