Description
The Mizel Museum’s mission is to present the contiuum of the Jewish people within a multicultural context through the arts. The work of the Mizel Museum is based on a belief in the importance of the arts as an expression of the human spirit that is the key to the creative, spiritual and historical identity of the individual and the community. It is dedicated to teaching tolerance and acceptance of all peoples through a variety of educational and multi-cultural programs.
The museum has grown from a small ethnic museum, to a nationally recognized, award-winning institution reaching broad local and regional audiences with cross-cultural programs and perspectives on the arts.
