Description
The primary focus of Missourians Against Handgun Violence is on the prevention of handgun deaths and injury to the youth of St. Louis City and County. This would be accomplished through a comprehensive
educational program aimed at not only these children,but also their teachers and parents. Conducting interactive educational
seminars tailored for both children and adults. We
would also produce supplementary educational materials that could be appreciated by others who
could not attend our educational programs (brochures,newsletters, and a website).
We also collaborate with parents who have guns in their households, educating them on the need to keep their firearm properly secured from their children.
