Description
Established in 1949, the Missouri 4-H Foundation secures and manages funds to support Missouri 4-H Youth Development programs.Through the wise use of these financial resources, the 4-H program is enhanced by:
--Securing seed money to initiate state 4-H programs;
--Supporting statewide activities for 4-H'ers from communities throughout Missouri;
--Sponsoring community service grants for local 4-H Clubs;
--Sponsoring volunteer 4-H leader training;
--Recognizing and honoring 4-H volunteers, friends and supporters;
--Providing funds that help 4-H members develop life and leadership skills;
--Establishing college scholarships for 4-H members
--Providing recognition incentives for 4-H members.
