Description
Today, Mission Neighborhood Health Center (MNHC) is still the only Federally Qualified Health Center in the City and County of San Francisco that provides wide-ranging, linguistically and culturally proficient primary care services to the predominantly underserved, low-income and highly diverse Latino Communities. MNHC guarantees families and individuals a “medical home” where a broad range of health and human services are provided throughout the lifecycle irrespective of the patients’ ability to pay. The health center currently serves nearly 13,000 registered patients and provides over 50,000 medical visits annually. The growing majority of the health center’s patients (66%) are uninsured. MNHC is a 501(c) (3) non-profit institution who just celebrated its 40th anniversary of service delivery and has an operating budget of $12,605,042.
