Description
Miss Ruby's Kids is an early literacy organization that serves at-risk children in Georgetown County, South Carolina. The program enables parents to be their child's first, best teacher by using trained home visitors to work with two- and three-year olds and their primary caregiver in their homes twice a week for two years. Families who complete the two-year program may extend the services by requesting a trained Miss Ruby's Kids mentor be assigned to visit with their children once a week at school until high school graduation.
