Description

The Miner's Institute Foundation is a not for profit organization charged with restoring, revitalizing and rehabilitating the Historic Miner's Instittute. The Institute was built in 1918 as a temple to the local coal mining union. The years have taken their toll on our once grand lady. The MIF would like to restore the Instittute to its once grand splendor, in addition to being a state of the art theatre facility. This is a $8.7 million project.
