Description
Founded in 2003 by parents of children with autism, Milestones empowers families and professionals by providing opportunities for learning, engagement, awareness and networking -- opportunities which, previous to Milestones, parents and professionals did not have. Through training and hands-on workshops, Milestones helps parents and professionals learn techniques to assist them everyday in their homes and in their children’s classrooms. Milestones also provides referral information about services, programs and individual rights. Over 3,500 parents and professionals have been served by Milestones programming since 2003.
