Midwest Prairie Dog Shelter, Inc. [MWPD Shelter] is a registered 501(c)(3) tax exempt corporation located in the state of Indiana.

MWPD Shelter is a non-profit organization devoted to providing compassionate, life-long hospice care for prairie dogs that are unable to be released back to their natural habitat due to health issues, blindness, neurological impairment, injury, or other permanent disability.

MWPD Shelter is committed to promoting responsible attitudes toward all five species of prairie dogs and educating the public about the importance of preservation of the prairie dog and their habitat through advocacy and outreach via our website.
