Description
The Michael Hoefflin Foundation is dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families; fnding pediatric cancer research; and, raising public awareness about childhood cancers.
Family outreach programs provide emergency financial support, monthly grocery and gasoline gift cards, hot meals or frozen 'fully prepared for cooking' meals delivered to the home, transportation assistance, tutoring services, monthly support meetings, quarterly family fun activities, wish granting coordination, holiday gift baskets, hospital toy distribution, and financial assistance for funeral services.
Research grants fund the development of new therapeutics, clinical trials, training fellowships and studies to improve the quality of life for children with cancer.
Public awareness programs provide information sources, a library of print/audio/video publications, a resource directory, public speakers and articles to help raise awareness about the under-served cause of children's cancer.
