Metrowest Animal Awareness Society - MAAS

The Metrowest Animal Awareness Society (MAAS) is a feline rescuse group that operates in Marlborough and Hudson, Massachusetts. Because we have no physical shelter building, all of the stray and surrendered kittens and cats we rescue live with us in our homes until we find a suitable permanent home for them. We have rescued, vaccinated, spayed/neutered and rehomed almost 1,000 cats to date. We also perform Trap Neuter Release (TNR) on ferals cats in the area. TNR includes vaccinations for distemper and rabies. Many of the strays we take in need medical attention beyond vaccinations and spay/neuter, and the medications or surgeries can be expensive. Our funds come exclusively from donations.
