Description
Methodist Children’s Home Society is a voluntary, private, non-profit, non-sectarian children’s agency located on a 72-acre campus in Redford, Michigan. We provide Residential Treatment for up to 70 boys, who have social or emotional problems, as a result of neglect and physical, emotional and sexual abuse; Foster Care for children who are temporarily separated from their birth families and adoptive placements for hard-to-place children who come from the residential treatment and foster care programs. We also have our Bookpartners program, an after-school mentoring program where children receive individual attention from volunteer tutors who develop an individualized approach to reading that is centered on the interests of the child.
