Description

A not-for-profit organization owned and operated by the Parents' Cooperative Society for the Handicapped. Their goal was to seek an alternative to institutionalozation for thier developmentally disabled children. In 1973, their vision became a reality with the opening of Merry Glen Home & School. The home features semi-private and private bedrooms, a kitchen with a full time cook, friendly living and training areas, several outside areas, in house PT, an LPN, and much more. Currently, Merry Glen is home to 14 residents. The 30 person staff provides dedicated and loving care to the Merry Glen family on a 24-hour basis.
