The Mercer Island Schools Foundation supports public education in Mercer Island! Support from the Foundation is a key component of the School District's ability to maintain the lowest possible class sizes. Foundation funding of academic curriculum, books and materials, staff development and student support programs has been critical to the district's ability to hire additional classroom teachers and to meet community expectations for the education of our students. Without YOUR DONATION to the Mercer Island Schools Foundation the School District would be forced to purchase the necessary curriculum needs and provide training for staff leading to the elimination of teachers in the classroom.
