Nonprofit 501 (3) (c) organization supported by United Way of Knox County. Provides educational programs on mental illnessess, workshops, literature, support resources. Publishes a agency newsletter, a community resource directory and mails out ParenTalk newsletters to parents of babies born in our local hospital -- educational letters relating to growth, developm ent and parenting skills -- mailed at different intervals from birth to five years. Lending library and exhibits at health fairs. Supported by United Way and individual contributions. No federal, state or local government support.
