Mental Health America of Northern California (MHANCA) is the oldest advocacy organization in Sacramento, founded in 1946, formerly known as Mental Health Association, Sacramento Chapter. MHANCA serves thousands of individuals and families annually with self-help and peer support services, advocacy, research, linkage and referral, and home visitation. The agency has a long history of providing community services and supports to diverse youth, families, adults, and older adults for over 60 years.
