Mental Health America of Franklin County

Mental Health America of Franklin County, formerly the Mental Health Association of Franklin County (MHAFC), was established in 1956 to serve the residents of Franklin County (Columbus, Ohio). MHAFC works to promote mental health and improve the lives of those affected by mental health issues through advocacy, education and support services. We are funded by the United Way of Central Ohio, the Franklin County Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board, private grants, contributions, program service fees and membership dues. We are the only organization in Franklin County whose broad mission is to educate the public about mental health and mental illness.
