Description
Founded in 1954, Mental Health America of Arizona (MHAAZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing leadership addressing the full range of mental health and wellness issues in Arizona. We are dedicated to improving care, treatment and recovery for people with all types of mental illness through support services, education and advocacy. Our programs include OPTIONS (Offering Teens and Parents Information on Needless Suicide), free depression screenings in local high schools, 15 Peer Support Groups that cover a host of diverse mental illnesses, and we offer the only state-wide information and referral services in Arizona.
