Memphis University School, a traditional, college-preparatory school for boys in grades seven through twelve, has been the school for boys for more than 100 years.
MUS remains deliberately and purposely a school for boys. We like boys, and we believe that we serve boys well. But why a boys’ school? Why do we believe strongly in single-sex education? In short, we believe that girls and boys are different. At an all-boys school, we have the advantage of investing all our focus on the unique psychological, academic, and emotional needs that boys have during their adolescent years.
MUS is non-denominational and non-discriminatory. Situated on 94 acres in East Memphis, MUS has a current enrollment of approximately 640 students. Financial aid is available to all qualified students.
