Description
We are a federally qualified health center whose mission has been since 1974 to provide safe, quality, affordable, effective, and comprehensive health services to every resident, regardless of economic status, within Shelby & Fayette counties, TN.
Our 3 locations provide preventative, primary, and pediatric health and dental care to residents with discount health plans, no insurance, Medicaid/Medicare & TennCare.
Our on-site pharmacy dispenses prescriptions under the 340b reduced price drug program and works with several drug makers to offer many low to no cost prescription assistance plans.
MHC also provides numerous community outreach and awareness programs, such as WIC, The Blues Project, Homeless/Indigent care, Breast Cancer Awareness, Porter-Leath as well as offering on-site access to social services.
