Description
Medical, Educational Missions & Outreach (MEMO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing aid to third world countries. Currently MEMO is focusing on Vietnam and Laos. MEMO strives to provide fundamental needs (health and education) and opportunities to the impoverished. To accomplish this, each year MEMO brings a team of medical professionals to create temporary free health clinics in third world villages, provide heart surgeries to children with congenital heart disease, donate medical supplies to hospitals, and create workshops to train local doctors and advance medicine. MEMO also has created a scholarship program for primary students and supports many orphanages. MEMO also co-created a vocational school to train villagers to gain a stable job in electronics that will enable them to raise their families out of poverty.
