Description
The primary focus of Meals on Wheels PLUS is nutrition services for seniors and others in need. Programs focusing on seniors include adult day care, group respite care, congregate dining, home delivered meals, transportation, outreach, nutrition education, caregiver support and education, health monitoring, telephone reassurance, emergency aid assistance, and the Retired Service and Volunteer Program (RSVP) which benefits all the local agencies. Non-senior programs are involve our food bank, as it provides family and infant care baskets, and a food distribution program serving over 100 local food pantries.
