McFadden Community Advisory Council

The McFadden Community Advisory Council, (MCAC) is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation organized to assist in communicating information about the Texas Youth Commission (TYC) programs to others in the community and to assist with providing services to TYC youth in Denton County; specifically McFadden Ranch. The State of Texas provides only the basic food, shelter, and clothing. The MCAC picks up where the State leaves off by providing self-esteem enhancing activities, intensive medical or dental needs like braces or allergy testing, removing of tattoos, educational materials (G.E.D. and College entrance study guides), and student recognition to name a few.
