Description
Empowering individuals, families, and neighborhoods in Philadelphia to reach self-sufficiency, by providing program services and coordinating resources. The Mayor's Office of Community Services (MOCS) serves as the parent organization for a variety of programs and partnerships it has overseen for the past forty-four years, working toward the common goal of providing intensive services for low-income individuals, helping them gain access to basic services and achieve self-reliance. Each program is designed to improve quality of life, using strategies and methodologies that engage program participants, their families, neighborhoods, and communities.
