Description
The MATTIE MIRACLE CANCER FOUNDATION (MMCF) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization, dedicated to improving the treatment of Osteosarcoma and other pediatric cancers through the support of research. The Foundation will enhance resources on Osteosarcoma and other pediatric cancers by enhancing awareness, education, advocacy, and providing social support services to children, their families, and medical personnel so that children are better prepared to cope with cancer and thereby lead happy and productive lives during and after treatment. The MMCF was founded in the loving memory of Matthew J. Brown, or as he was better known to his friends and family as "Mattie" who died from this disease in September 2009 at the tender age of seven.
