Description

Mater Dolorosa is a non profit organization dedicated to preaching the Passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as it relates to contemporary life. Weekend retreats have been offered since 1926. We are located at the base of the San Gabriel mountains in Sierra Madre, CA. We are on 82 acres of foothills and offer an environment of peace and tranquility to those who need to depart from the pressures of the day. The retreat center also offers the use of its facility to hosted programs during the week or on weekends as available.
