The Masterworks Chorale exists to inspire our community. We dedicate our professional presentation of superior choral music to the enrichment, nourishment, education, and entertainment of our audience, striving to create a meaningful personal experience for patron and performer.
The Masterworks Chorale is critically recognized as one of Northern California’s finest choral ensembles. Founded in 1964 by
Music Director Emeritus Galen Marshall, Masterworks performs the major choral literature composed for large chorus and soloists
accompanied by orchestra. The Chorale performs four concerts sets, each with two performances, often accompanied by orchestral ensembles comprised of the Bay Area’s finest professional instrumentalists. In addition, the Chorale features guest soloists renowned for their work with leading symphonies and opera companies throughout North America and Europe.
