Description
The mission of Mary’s Hope Workshops is to facilitate spiritual healing for adult survivors of profound childhood abuses. Our goal is to help survivors of profound childhood abuses to be reconciled with their God.
The mission is carried out by:
• Offering hope to survivors – to educate survivors about their spiritual wounds and ways to be proactive in their own spiritual healing.
• Providing workshops and educational programs – to provide opportunities for beginning spiritual healing and to expand the knowledge and skills of care providers who would facilitate spiritual healing in both the secular and faith communities.
• Creating materials to facilitate spiritual healing – to research and develop print and other materials for use by survivors and care providers.
• Educating the public – to be the voice of silent survivors in the community and to raise awareness of the spiritual issues and needs for healing.
