Description

Maryland Therapeutic Riding (MTR) "www.HorsesThatHeal.org" opens new pathways of healing for children and adults with physical, emotional and cognitive challenges using horses combined with a professional full-time staff, allied licensed therapists, and volunteers. MTR is life-changing for individuals with autism disorders, neuromuscular conditions such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, or multiple sclerosis, as well as developmental and behavioral disorders. MTR is one of the only year-round, full-time professionally staffed therapeutic riding programs in the area east of Baltimore-Washington. MTR owns a beautiful 25 acre farm and is centrally located to the eastern part of Baltimore-Washington arena.
