Description
Located in Norman, OK. the Mary Abbott Children's House serves as the child abuse response center for our county while also serving surrounding counties when needed. Our mission is serve child victims of sexual and severe physical abuse and neglect through coordinated interagency investigation, intervention, education and advocacy. Abbott House is located in a 100 year old Victorian house, providing a child friendly environment for the child victims we serve thereby reducing the trauma they may experience. We coordinate the child abuse response and treatment team comprised of law enforcement, mental health professionals, medical, Department of Human Services - Child Welfare Division, the district attorney's office and Abbott House staff.
