Description
The success of the Alliance will expand opportunities in our communities for safe physical activity such as walking trails. We also envision imroving the choices and affordability of healthy foods including support for people who want to learn to prepare healthy meals and preserve garden produce for future use. Our vision also includes improving availability of advanced life support services, increasing access to specialized health and mental health services, and creating successful methods to recruit and retain health professionals within our communities. We will create linkages between healthcare providers, social service providers, and governmental entities to enhance referrals and build partnerships. These linkages will reduce healthcare service costs and increase the integration and quality of health services within the region.
