Description
The Maritime Leadership Foundation, based out of Gig Harbor, Washington, is dedicated to providing an avenue for refreshment and team building for people who are involved in service leadership. We have had the privilege of sailing with volunteers from the juvenile detention facility Remann Hall, a women’s community support home, military Veterans from Vietnam and Iraq, and Child and Family Guidance Center’s support team. Maritime Leadership has also taken hundreds of volunteer workers who serve single mothers, local urban youth, needy homeless, and those in prison. We are also meeting the growing opportunity to take international leaders on the boats and provide them with rest and refreshment as they come to Tacoma for leadership training conferences.
