Description

The Marbury Plaza Concerned Tenants- Tenant’s Association (MPCTA) represents tenants residing in the 672 units of Marbury Plaza Apartments, located at 2300 Good Hope Rd. SE, Washington, DC 20020.

The Association strives to significantly improve the quality of life for all tenants by ensuring compliance by the owners regarding all housing, health, and safety codes as required by the District of Columbia. MPCTA has been engaged in a successful high profile effort to stop the property owners from continuing to neglect safety, health, and habitability resulting in tenants being forced to live in units plagued by leaks, floods, loss of air conditioning and heat, no hot water, mold, rodents, electrical problems and much more.

The Association's current case may be the largest of its kind in DC History.
The Association secured at $10,000 grant. However that grant has run out.
