Description
Marbles Kids Museum is a hands-on, minds-on destination that supplements formal education by engaging children in play-based learning. The mission of Marbles Kids Museum is to inspire imagination, discovery and learning through extraordinary adventures in play and larger-than-life IMAX experiences. As a downtown Raleigh family destination, we serve children under 10 and their families with five themed galleries, daily programs, summer camps, birthday parties, IMAX documentary and feature films and special events. Five initiatives guide the development of all exhibits and programs at Marbles: Developing Creativity and Innovation; Building Healthy, Active Families; Strengthening Foundations for Successful Learning; Introducing Children to Diverse People and Places; and Growing Up Green. Marbles opened September 29, 2007 after the consolidation of two children’s museums.
