Description

Located on a private farm nestled at the foot of Hawk Mountain Bird Sanctuary in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, Maranatha Farm's Animal Sanctuary was founded in September, 2004. We are a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue organization currently taking care of over 65 animals; mostly special needs and/or special issue dogs, cats and horses. Working alongside SPCA's and other rescue organizations to find permenant loving homes for adoptable pets and farm animals is a major part of our mission; as is promoting the human/animal bond with community outreach programs to at risk children and adults.
